Lynne started teaching at Swan Pilates in 2021. However, she’s been sharpening her skills as an instructor since 2011. As a fitness enthusiast, Lynne doesn’t just instruct Pilates to get people in shape. She knows that the strength, flexibility, and balance gained through practice improve every aspect of life, and it’s the mastery of movement fluidity that she targets through her classes.
At age 10 Lynne dreamed of being a dancer. Little did she know she’d fully realize the dream as a Pilates instructor, a practice that blends the grace of ballet with the grit of a full-body gym workout. While Pilates doesn’t require equipment, Lynne’s certification allows her to teach a broader spectrum of classes with machines for the customers up for the challenge.
Lynne believes that “a body at rest tends to stay at rest”, while “a body in motion tends to stay in motion”. All it takes is one step to start your fitness transformation. Her dependable and amusing personality infuses her classes with a fun vibe that keeps customers laughing as they challenge and tone their muscles. Lynne’s conscientious nature allows her to relate to each student, properly guiding their individual needs so that they can achieve their unique potential to its fullest.
After work, Lynne’s other motto, “it’s five-o-clock somewhere”, takes the stage. Post-workout, Lynne unapologetically lounges by the pool, possibly with a refreshing drink in hand. When she does want to keep in motion, she enjoys taking a stroll along the golf course.
